flying $

Money seems to be flying out the window at the Cliff house today. Flea and Heartworm meds for Jack ( a year's worth for $140.00 from http://www.canadavet.com/ ), $150.00 for passport renewals for Mike and I, $150.00 for a down payment for Abby's senior trip next year and a pizza order for a thank-you lunch (worth far more than I paid!!!!) Oh my! It never ends.

Here's a great deal on some inexpensive flowers: http://www.southernsavers.com/2010/05/10-off-10-flower-purchase/

Get up to 65% off Teva sandals right now at http://www.6pm.com/

Not so much to say tonight...happy evening!

  1. Buy flea and tick meds off of ebay. You can get these meds still in the original package. There is no expiration date on some types of fles meds.

If you really want to save (I don't go this route), you can get a kit that tells you how to use the medication in a big dog flea med dose to give a smaller dog 2-3 applications of meds. Since the big dog doses only cost a little more, you can save big bucks per dose. I haven't done it because I'm not the person dosing my dogs (big kid is) so I'm afraid it would not get done properly. Maybe I should be more trusting? As a nurse, you can probably look at the kit contents and put a kit together yourself without buying one. -Bill
