We've had a very busy weekend, but a very good one. All the Christmas activities have started in earnest. We had a wonderful open house for our neighbors. This was a tradition we started 5 years ago. Our house was built in the 1930s and only one other family had owned it. Every year we invite the former owner back, which I honestly believe is the reason so many of the neighbors show up. I learned a long time ago that if you wait for yourself, your home or your finances to be perfect before you do something like this, it will never happen. Just go ahead and do it!
